CHZ LIGHTING TECHNOLOGY SPAIN has recently completed a LED solar lighting project in Angola. It is a complete set of CHZ-SST solar street lamps, which have CE / ROHS certification. The design of the project has taken into account the local tropical climate and lighting time requirements. “Without increasing costs, we use the most advanced time control and infrared control programs to achieve maximum performance. This work has been highly acclaimed by clients and government officials, now the project is finished”, they state from the company.
As they point out, after three months of testing, customers are very satisfied with the overall result and long-term cooperation is expected. “Our solar technology is reporting new projects in Africa and Latin America. And in the Spanish market we have obtained supply contracts for towns in Andalusia and Valencia Region.
The solar cell converts solar energy into electrical energy, which is stored in the battery; and the lamp draws the current from this battery, which does not require any other wiring. The street lights use solar energy, a form of renewable energy. Nowadays it is common to see solar lamps along the side of roads.
Solar street lights are part of the photostatic cells, which absorb energy at daytime. Photovoltaic cells convert solar energy into electrical energy, which is stored in the battery. At night the lamp turns on automatically and consumes the electricity already stored in the battery. At daytime it recharges and the process continues to be repeated every day.
