    IFEMA convenes the 19th edition of the International Exhibition of Solutions for the Electrical and Electronics Industry, MATELEC 2018, which will take place next 13 to 16 November, in Halls 2, 4, 6, 5 and 7 of Feria de Madrid, under the umbrella of ePower&Building with the slogan "Transforming the way we build a Green World”. An event that includes all solutions for a building's lifecycle, - CONSTRUTEC, BIMEXPO, ARCHISTONE and VETECO -, and expects to gather 1,600 exhibiting companies –30% more than in the past 2016 edition- and more than 80,000 professional visitors, from 100 countries, positioning it as one of the main European platforms for the building industry, where sustainability, innovation and technology will be the keys for the transformation of the industry. The MATELEC event joins this big event with its three areas: MATELEC, LIGHTING and INDUSTRY.

    MATELEC again reveals itself as the benchmark trade event of southern Europe for the electrical, electronic and telecommunication industry with the electrical installations, telecommunications and networks, apparatus, mechanisms, cables and conductors, energy storage and self-consumption, electronics, electric vehicle, automation, building automation and Smart Cities sectors.
    MATELEC LIGHTING is one of the lighting and illumination industry's major events, with a very wide range in led, technical lighting, exterior lighting, components, electrical engineering, efficiency, design, new architectural solutions, of special interest for installers, distributors, architects, lighting designers, interior designers and representatives of warehouses and renovation and building companies.
    MATELEC INDUSTRY, under the slogan “Transforming connectivity into industrial productivity” is the International Exhibition of Solutions for Industry and the Smart Factory with Automation in Industry, Processes and Energy, Industrial Electronics, Industrial Energy Control and Management Solutions, Installations, Electrification and Telecommunications, Digital Factory and Suppliers of the Industry sectors.

    Priority participation registration is open now and will end next 20 April, and the whole of MATELEC expects to welcome about 1,000 participating companies, 30% more than in the past edition. You can registers on www.matelec.ifema.es or www.matelecindustry.ifema.es

    Next edition, one of the main themes of MATELEC will be self-consumption, electric mobility, connectivity and digital transformation of the industry, all of them capable of generating many new business opportunities for the engineering, installers and integrators sectors. Therefore, and in order to strenghten these new business niches, MATELEC will have specific contents and conference days.

    Technology, innovation and sustainability will be the backbone of ePower&Building, where the full life cycle of a building is the protagonist, from the design and project, through execution of construction, use and habitability, to maintenance and renovation,….all of them business areas for the sector convened to MATELEC, thus placing value on the sector's commitment and responsibility with respect to a new way of building, where quality, comfort, energy savings and efficiency are the consumer values and trends.

    At MATELEC 2018, in addition to the large corporate representation, the main associations of the industry will be again present: ADEMI, Association of Employers, Assemblies, Maintenances and Industrial Services; ADIME, Association of Suppliers of Electrical Material; AECIM, Association of Employers of the Metal Trade and Industry of Madrid; AFME, Association of Manufacturers of Electrical Material; AMETIC, Association of Companies in the Electronics, Information Technologies and Telecommunications Sectors in Spain; AMEC-AMELEC, Multisectorial Association of Companies / Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Exporters of Electrical Apparatus, Cables and Material; AMITEL,  Madrid Association of Industrial Installers of Telecommunications; ANFALUM, Spanish Association of Lighting Manufacturers; AGREMIA, Association of the Installations and Energy sector; AVAESEM, Valencia Association of Companies of the Energy Sector; FACEL, Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Electrical Conductors and Optic Fibre; FENIE, National Federation of Employers of Electrical Installations of Spain; FENITEL, National Federation of Installers of Telecommunications; KNX Association, and SECARTYS, Spanish Association for Internationalization and Innovation of Spanish Companies in the Electronics, Computers and Telecommunications sectors. And all the approvals from the Administration and institutions.

    To reinforce company participation, MATELEC will develop a number of tools aimed at providing the exhibiting companies with maximum profitability, in short contributing to boosting the sector: a busy schedule of professional events; B2B between supply and demand meetings agenda; invited national and international buyers’ programmes; Professional Meeting Point; newsletters and other communication channels, etc.

    Finally, MATELEC has set next 20 April as the deadline for companies to confirm their participation in advance on the Fair's website. They have the option to select their space, at the meetings scheduled for this purpose on May 7 and 8 2018.
